2. Hosting & server log files
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (512 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit it, technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, date and time, page requested, browser and operating system) is processed to deliver the website and keep it secure. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Netlify is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; standard contractual clauses also apply.
3. Enquiry form, e-mail, phone & WhatsApp
If you send us an enquiry via the form, we process the data you enter (e.g. name, phone number, e-mail address, location, plants, height, running metres, message) solely to handle your enquiry and prepare an offer. It is transmitted via Netlify Forms (Netlify, Inc., USA) and the e-mail service FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which forwards it to our e-mail address. The same applies if you contact us by e-mail, phone or WhatsApp; for WhatsApp, the privacy policy of WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. also applies.
The legal basis is pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep your enquiry as long as needed to handle it and beyond that only within statutory retention periods (e.g. 7 years under the Austrian BAO if an order is placed). Your data is never sold or passed on for advertising.
4. Cookies & local storage
This website only stores what is technically necessary in your browser: your cookie choice and your selected language. On your first visit you can choose in the cookie banner which additional categories (functional, performance, marketing) you allow. We currently use no analytics or marketing tools. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via cookie settings. Legal basis: § 165(3) TKG 2021 and Art. 6(1)(a) or (f) GDPR.
5. Google Maps
On the contact page we embed a Google Maps map (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). When the map loads, data such as your IP address is transmitted to Google, possibly also to servers in the USA. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The map helps you find us easily (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). More: policies.google.com/privacy.
6. Fonts, music & media
Fonts, photos and videos are loaded directly from our server and the background music is generated in your browser, without any connection to Google Fonts or other external providers.
7. Links to social networks
We link to our profiles on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. These are plain links, not embedded plugins; data is only transmitted once you click a link, and the privacy policy of that network then applies.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future. Just write to us at pc@tirol.com.
If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can complain to the supervisory authority: Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
